Cannes, France — Renowned Qatari entrepreneur, designer, and creative visionary Amal Ameen Al-Mehain was honored at the Millionaire Concept Gala & Awards, held on May 18 during the 79th Cannes Film Festival. The prestigious ceremony took place at the iconic Carlton Cannes Hotel, celebrating the 7th Anniversary of Millionaire Concept with an exclusive gathering of global entrepreneurs, business leaders, designers, artists, and distinguished international guests.
Amal Ameen Al-Mehain received the prestigious Millionaire Concept Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to design, luxury retail, entrepreneurship, and the creative industries. This marked a particularly significant milestone, as it was the second time she has been honored by Millionaire Concept, reaffirming her lasting influence and exceptional achievements within the international luxury and design community.
The award celebrates Amal's remarkable career spanning more than two decades, during which she has become one of Qatar's most respected figures in interior architecture, branding, fashion, and luxury business.
A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar, Amal earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2004, complemented by an advanced certificate in Arts, Communication, Etiquette, and Protocol. Shortly after graduation, she founded her own design company, specializing in graphic design, interior architecture, branding strategies, and corporate identity development for numerous organizations.
Guided by her philosophy, "Design is not just what it looks like—it is how it makes you feel, and how it lasts," Amal has consistently created projects that combine innovation with timeless elegance.
In 2006, during the Asian Games, her company was selected to design and build an Islamic Museum within one of the event's largest Islamic exhibitions. The project received widespread media recognition for its authentic interpretation of Islamic architectural heritage and cultural identity.
Three years later, Amal was recognized among Qatar's Most Successful Career Women. As Senior Interior Designer and Art Director for one of Qatar's leading real estate groups, she led a team of 36 professionals while successfully delivering more than 114 residential developments and 17 retail projects across Doha.
In 2011, she became the only Qatari speaker invited to the prestigious four-day Tasmeem Conference in Doha, where she shared her insights on leadership, creativity, and the principles of success with an international audience.
Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, Amal later founded Triple Trend Design, an innovative creative house specializing in graphic, interior, and fashion design. In 2015, she launched La Boutique Blanche, a luxury multi-brand concept store that introduced carefully curated international fashion labels to the Qatari market.
Continuing to redefine luxury retail experiences, Amal recently unveiled two prestigious destinations at Place Vendôme Qatar: Amici di Moda, an exclusive luxury department store where fashion and art meet, and Mahain Jewelry, a fine jewelry brand reflecting elegance, craftsmanship, and contemporary sophistication.
